for studios considering a partnership

Frequently asked
questions.

Answers to the questions studios ask before applying. If your question isn't here, write to [email protected] use the contact form — we reply to every message.

01 What kinds of games does Playcus publish?
We focus on cross-platform mobile and PC titles — primarily casual and hyper-casual games. We are platform-flexible: iOS, Android, and PC stores. If your game falls outside these genres, apply anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
02 Do I need a finished game to apply?
No. We review games at every stage — concept, prototype, soft-launch, and live. The earlier you involve us, the more value we can add on monetisation design and user-acquisition fit. For very early prototypes, a short playable build plus the design pillars is usually enough to start the conversation.
03 What does the publishing partnership look like?
After a green-lit evaluation, we sign a publishing agreement, integrate our analytics and monetisation tooling, and run a structured launch. Day-to-day work splits cleanly: the studio focuses on craft and live updates; Playcus handles user acquisition, performance reporting, and revenue operations.
04 What revenue split or terms do you offer?
Terms depend on the stage of the game, the scope of work we take on, and the marketing budget we deploy. We discuss specifics during the publishing-agreement phase rather than publishing a single number that fits every game. Reach out via the application form and we will give you an honest range based on your project.
05 What platforms do you support?
iOS, Android, and PC. For cross-platform titles we coordinate launches so analytics, monetisation, and live-ops are consistent across stores. We do not currently publish for console-only releases.
06 How long does evaluation take after I apply?
We aim to respond to every application within five business days. A full evaluation — including a technical and monetisation review — typically takes one to three weeks, depending on the game stage and how much material you provide up front.
07 Do I keep the rights to my game?
Yes. Intellectual property remains with the studio. The publishing agreement covers the commercial and distribution arrangement, not ownership of your work.
08 Can I publish through Playcus and self-publish too?
In most cases, a Playcus publishing partnership is exclusive for the territories and platforms covered by the agreement. Exclusivity scope is something we discuss explicitly during contracting, so there are no surprises later.
09 How are payments handled?
Net revenue is reconciled on a regular schedule defined in the agreement. We provide a transparent revenue dashboard so studios can see UA spend, gross revenue, store fees, and net payouts without waiting for monthly reports.
10 Where is Playcus based?
Playcus Limited (the primary entity) is registered in Cyprus. Team members are spread across Europe; we contract with studios worldwide.
